Cold-Weather Accessories for Yoder Smokers Pellet Grills

The Yoder Smokers YS640 and YS480 pellet grills use 10 gauge American steel, which holds heat well in cold weather conditions. To support year-round grilling, a thermal jacket can be used to block wind and reflect heat back onto the grill body, resulting in steadier temperatures and increased pellet efficiency. The Fireboard app makes it possible to monitor and adjust your cook via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing users to control the grill from inside their home. In spring and fall, it is possible to cold smoke cheese using the grill’s fans and a tube smoker. Using a Yoder Smokers grill cover helps keep moisture, rain, and snow off the grill, making it suitable for outdoor grilling in a variety of weather conditions. All of these accessories are discussed as ways to support consistent grilling throughout the year. [S1]
